The ACES standard (AMPAS – Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences), which has recently been implemented in video equipment and software, is the ideal video production workflow (Scene-linear Workflow) for cinematographers and lighting technicians to demonstrate their skills developed in the film era. In this talk, we will elaborate on the findings from the comparative shooting of various digital cinema cameras and film cameras in Scene-linear Workflow/ACES. In addition, practical attempts at lighting techniques for VFX images will be explained.
